Warts

Warts are small growths, usually painless and harmless caused by a virus called the human papillomavirus (HPV). Warts are most commonly found on the hands and feet. Some warts may disappear without treatment but most often reappear. Warts can spread from one part of the body to another, warts may be treated for cosmetic reasons, or if they are causing pain.
