Keloid Scar

A keloid scar is the result of an overgrowth of collagen at the site of a healed skin injury. They expand in claw-like growths over normal skin and are sometimes painful. A keloid scar is benign and non-contagious and can be treated by Dr. Patel by a surgical or laser treatment.
