Fungal infections represent the invasion of tissue by one or more species of fungi.These invasions may be superficial or they may go deeper into tissue cause serious lung, blood or systemic diseases.

Fungal infections occur because a person is exposed to fungi such as spores on surfaces or in the air, soil or bird droppings. Fungi grow best in areas kept warm and moist by clothing and shoes.Treatment usually included keeping areas clean and dry and treating with an ointment which can be prescribed by Dr. Patel.
